ASSIGNMENT 2: PATTERN MARKER MAKING (DIAMINO)

WEEK 5 - WEEK 9

Assignment Brief:

After we learned how to use Modaris software to draw our pattern, we need to continue the lesson with Diamino software, Marker manager and Justprint. Diamino is for the pattern layout and fabric measurement. Before we import to this software, we have to make sure we already have variant in the Modaris file. 

Marker Manager (set up) 

1. Access paths - Click on new to create a folder - Save as same folder as Modaris 
2. Constraints - 0/*90/180 : used for fabric rotation
3. Marker : to create marker (add variant)
4. Generate the marker ( file name automatic saved with .PLX )

Constraints:

Marker: can change width according to the fabric we going to purchase.

Marker Making (Pattern Layout)

Rotate pattern pieces: Select the pattern, close Num Lock and press 5 

Undo - Press 7

Save
