My Thoughts
Because of the quality of my fabric, the works came out not so neatly but I have learnt the skills. I wish to practice more when the new fabrics have arrived ( PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS ^^ ).
I think hand stitches is still a very important skill although we do have sewing machine in nowadays.
As what Mr Riza has said, the price of clothing with hand stitches (especially invisible stitch) will be higher than manufactured because it takes more time and hard work. This is one of the reason why Haute Couture is so expensive. It is made by hand from start to finish, the result is always in high-quality and focusing to details.
